Ready for cotton candy, classic carnival rides and fun for the whole family? The Perth Royal Show 2024 is around the corner! Happening 21 – 28 September this year, a brand new precinct called the PAWVilion is set to make it a paradise for animal lovers. That, and the pawsome Perth Royal Dog Show.

What’s the Perth Royal Show?
A big, vibrant annual event at the Claremont Showground in Perth that brings together fun, agriculture, and community in a week-long celebration.
This event is all about showcasing Western Australia’s farming, agricultural, and rural communities. The first Royal Show in 1905 attracted 30,000 visitors – today, you can expect more than 350,000! That, and over 400 entertainers, 300 performances and over 101 free things to do once you’re inside.
What are the highlights?
So, what can you look forward to this year? Apart from half-price entry for adults and kids under 15 getting FREE entry, you can enjoy the return of their carnival rides, ever popular showbags and food, food and more food. Here are three other Perth Royal Show 2024 highlights:
1. The PD Insurance and Dogs West stand
You didn’t think we’d miss out on the action, did you? PD Insurance and Dogs West are setting up at this year’s PAWVilion. This is a chance to meet and greet us in person and ask any questions you might have about our policies and the discounts Dogs West breeders can pass on to their customers.

2. Spectate or participate in dog and cat competitions
The Perth Royal Show 2024 is all about animals, and have several agricultural competitions including alpaca fleece, cattle, goat and horse breed showcases.
For obvious reasons, we recommend checking out the Pedigree Cat Show, Dog Conformation competition (also known as the Perth Royal Dog Show) and Dog Performance competition.
Nearly a thousand dogs will be judged at this year’s Perth Royal Dog Show, with canines from all over the country showing off their best form in front of a team of expert judges.
Similarly, majestic cats will compete at the show cat competition. Categories up for grabs include the All Breed Championship, Golden Oldies and Sire or Dam of Excellence.

3. Browse and shop top pet products
The Perth Royal Show 2024’s Pet PAWvilion is a gathering of all things pet. This brand new precinct will display a variety of top-notch pet products and is a must-attend for animal lovers. Where can I get Perth Royal Show 2024 tickets?
Pounce over to their website to buy tickets. Adults pay half price this year and children under 15 are free. You can also buy tickets at the gates, but may have to stand in a queue.
What time does the Royal Show Perth open?
Gates open at 10am each day and the event runs till 9pm. Ticket sales at the gates close at 8pm.
Will there be Perth Royal Show showbags?
