Travelling with a furry friend is amazingly fun. No wonder it’s a travel trend on the up! In fact, a recent TripAdvisor survey found that 53% of respondents travel with their pets, and 52% will only stay at pet friendly Airbnbs or cat and dog friendly accommodation spots.

With more or less half of travellers cruising around with Felix or Fido, places of hospitality are going to need to adapt to make room for the fur kids – or lose out on a huge chunk of business.

Luckily, there are some amazing cat and dog friendly accommodation spots in Australia that welcome pets with open paws. We’ve rounded up some for you here.
